At Vente Networks, we take your privacy very seriously. Our primary goal in collecting information from you is to provide you with a smooth and customized experience while you use our services. We do not disclose any personally identifiable information about you to any third party without your permission, unless we believe in good faith that we are authorized to do so by law. We may share aggregated information about our users with third parties, such as our partners, for marketing and promotional purposes.

What Information Does Vente Networks Gather And Track?

In general, we collect information about you in the following ways:

Registration

When you register for any of the Vente Networks Services (including but not limited to the demandmart web site, www.demandmart.com) we ask you how you heard about Vente Networks. The more information you provide (and the more accurate it is), the better we are able to customize and provide our services to suit your needs and preferences. When you register for one of the Vente Networks Services, we may ask that you give us non-personal information. We also ask that you give us personal information such as your name, email address, zip code, country, gender, and birth date. When you register for a subscription-based service, we ask that you provide us with additional information, such as your mailing address, credit card number and credit card expiration date, your company name, billing address, your role in your company, number of years of company's existence, and phone number.

Usage Tracking/Hardware/Software/Cookies

While you use any of our Services, we automatically track information related to your use of the Services. This information may include (among other things) content you view and your path through our Services. There is also information about your computer or mobile device hardware and software that is automatically collected by Vente Networks when you are using Vente Networks’ web sites. This information can include information such as: your browser type, IP address, type of operating system, mobile device platform, type of Java virtual machine, Internet connection speed, access times and identification of any software program or hardware which has previously caused technical problems with the Vente Networks product(s). Cookies may store this information on your computer or mobile device so that the Services run smoothly and can be tailored to your preferences, but cookies themselves do not contain personal account information.

Technical Support/Information

When you request technical support or information for Vente Networks Services, we ask you for your personal information and other information necessary to answer your question or resolve your problem.

Promotions or Contests

When you enter a contest or promotion sponsored by Vente Networks and/or our partners, we ask for your contact information so that our partners or we can administer the contest or promotion, and notify winners.

Surveys/Questionnaires

We may occasionally ask Vente Networks users or visitors to fill out optional surveys and/or questionnaires. These surveys/questionnaires may ask for demographic information, information about your business, information about computer or mobile device use, and other information pertinent to provision of the Services.

Public Forums on Vente Networks

If you use any bulletin board, blog or chat room on or as part of the Services, you should be aware that any information you submit there can be read, collected or used by other users and could be used to send you unsolicited messages. We are not responsible for the personal information you choose to submit in these forums.

Other Information You Give Us

When you use the Services, we may collect any information that you enter or give us in any other way in order to contact you about the Services. Additionally, if you want to learn more about our products or services, we may request that you fill out a form in which we ask for information such as your first/last name, mailing address, email address, as well as your phone number. We only use this information to contact you in order to provide you with information about products and services, answer any questions that you may have, and/or help you sign up for Services.

What Happens to My Information After I Upload it to Vente Networks?

Your personal and Business Information are yours. You can remove them from public listing on the Services anytime you want. We will retain billing records and communication opt-out preferences consistent with industry best practices. When you request us to delete your account for the Services, your data will be permanently expunged from our primary production servers and further access to your account will not be possible. However, portions of your data, consisting of aggregate data derived from your Account Information, may remain on our production servers indefinitely. Your data may also remain on a backup server or media. Vente Networks keeps these backups to ensure our continued ability to provide the Services to you in the event of malfunction or damage to our primary production servers. We also reserve the right to use any aggregated or anonymous data derived from or incorporating your personal information.

We work with third parties to provide the Services, including credit card processing companies and email marketing services. Our third party service providers are contractually required to maintain confidentiality of your personal information.

Personal information may be transferred to a third party as a result of a sale, acquisition, merger, reorganization or other transfer (a “Transfer”) involving Vente Networks. Vente Networks specifically reserves the right to transfer personal information to a third party in connection with a Transfer. Should such a Transfer occur, we will request that the new combined entity follow this Privacy Policy with respect to your personal information, as and to the extent required by applicable law and to require that you receive prior notice if your personal information could be used contrary to this Policy.

How Does Vente Networks Use My Information?

Vente Networks uses your information on an aggregated basis to do such things as operate and enhance our Services, including accurately targeting promotions to users. We statistically analyze site usage, including the behavior of our users, to improve the content, layout, and services of the Vente Networks web sites, as well as to enhance our marketing and promotional efforts.

We may share aggregate information about our Users with third parties, such as our partners, for marketing and promotional purposes. However, we do not disclose any personally identifiable information about you to any third party without your permission or as otherwise authorized by law.

We use the information we collect to process payments, confirm renewal charges or payments to your account, administer your account and the like, as applicable to your account.

Finally, we may use the information we collect to occasionally notify you about important functionality changes to the web site, new Vente Networks services, and special offers (including promotion of our product or third party products) we think you will find valuable. Except for communications sent to you regarding material company announcements or policy changes, if you would rather not receive this information you can indicate your preference in your account. We also comply with the Federal CAN-SPAM act by providing one-click opt out from commercial emails, including commercial emails we may send on your behalf in providing our services.

Does Vente Networks Share User Account Information?

Except as otherwise contemplated in this Privacy Policy, Vente Networks will not disclose any of your personal information without your permission unless authorized by law to do so.

Business Partners

In addition to disclosing personal information to agents who provide services to you on Vente Networks’ behalf, Vente Networks may disclose your personal information to our business partners in specific situations, after describing what we intend to do and obtaining your consent prior to data collection or prior to transferring the data. Our business partners have separate privacy and data collection practices. Vente Networks has no responsibility or liability for these independent policies. Agents

We may employ other companies and individuals who are subject to confidentiality obligations, to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include, but are not limited to, sending postal mail and email, removing repetitive information from customer lists, gathering financial account information, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, providing customer service, and collecting and processing payments for the Services. They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes.

Promotions, Sweepstakes/Contests

Some Vente Networks promotions, sweepstakes/contests may require that you provide additional information, such as your mailing address or credit card number. Such information may be shared with a third party if such third party is sponsoring the event or if the information is necessary in order to administer the service or process your transaction.

Some Vente Networks promotions and sweepstakes/contests may also offer opportunities to request additional information from sponsors and/or may require that you share some basic information in order to participate. By requesting more information or by participating, you give Vente Networks permission to transfer your personal information to the sponsor or partner so they can fulfill your request.

Legally Compelled Disclosure and Other

Vente Networks may disclose or access account information when we believe in good faith that the law requires it or for the protection of our legal rights. How Secure Is My Account Information?

Vente Networks uses industry standard efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of your personally identifiable information, such as firewalls and Secure Socket Layers. We make reasonable efforts to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. In addition, we always use a secure connection when collecting personal financial information from you. However, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

Our servers are in a secure facility. Access requires multiple levels of authentication, including biometrics (hand print scan) procedures. Security personnel monitor the system 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

Our databases are protected from general employee access both physically and logically. We encrypt your Service password so that your password cannot be recovered, even by us. All backup drives and tapes also are encrypted.

We enforce physical access controls to our buildings.

Our policies restrict employees from putting sensitive content on any insecure machine (i.e., nothing can be taken from the database and put on an insecure laptop).

Vente Networks has been verified by Verisign for its use of SSL encryption technologies. In addition, Vente Networks or its service providers test elements of the Services daily for failure points that would allow hacking.

Your Vente Networks account is password-protected so in addition to those partners or agents who may provide you services, only you and those you designate can access it and view the user information relevant to your account. Ultimately, you are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your passwords and any account information. Remember to log out of your Vente Networks account and close your browser window when you are done. This ensures that others cannot access your personal information if your computer is accessible to others.

How Do I Opt Out Of Receiving Messages From Vente Networks?

Except as otherwise contemplated in this Privacy Policy if you do not want to receive messages from Vente Networks about new features or products, tips on product use, and promotions, you can opt out by clicking the appropriate link in any such message.

Since it is necessary for us to contact you regarding certain matters, you may not opt-out of receiving messages relating to material company announcements or policy changes, or administrative matters relating to your account, like billing, collections, customer support or the like.

If you provided your personal information to Vente Networks for the purposes of receiving more information about a Vente Networks service before choosing to sign up as a user, and you no longer want to be contacted by Vente Networks, you can click on the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any email you receive and Vente Networks will remove you from the list of those who will be contacted with more information about the Vente Networks service.

What Are Cookies And How Does Vente Networks Use Them?

Cookies are small pieces of information stored on your phone or hard drive, not on our site. Use of the Services constitutes consent to any policies then in effect.

If we are going to use your personally identifiable information in a manner different from that as provided in our Privacy Policy at the time of collection we will notify you via email. Vente Networks and Children

Vente Networks is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
